Matthew Rice forthcoming book, The Lost City of Stoke On Trent is due for release at the start of October 2010.

With a foreword by ceramicist (and Rice’s wife) Emma Bridgewater, whose factory employs 150 people in the city, the book is based around Rice’s beautiful architectural illustrations and documents the charming aesthetic people love about Stoke – crumbling facades and all.
